Privacy

How we handle your information.

Plain English. This page describes what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do with it. If anything here is ambiguous, write to luke@lafaveconsulting.com and we will clarify.

What we collect when you submit the contact form

The request form on this site collects your name, work email, company, the engagement you are interested in, and the outcome you describe. We use this information only to respond to your request and to maintain a record of inbound inquiries for our own bookkeeping.

We do not sell, rent, or share contact information with third parties. We do not maintain a marketing newsletter — there is no list to be on.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving alternative to traditional analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not fingerprint visitors. It records aggregate page-load counts and Core Web Vitals data only.

We also receive Real User Monitoring (RUM) Core Web Vitals — CLS, INP, LCP — from the browser via the standard web-vitals library. These are aggregate performance numbers; they contain no personal information.

Cookies

This site does not set marketing cookies. It does not use cookie-based ad targeting. The only cookies set are first-party functional cookies required to keep an active session if one is initiated.

Server logs

Cloudflare keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, URL) for a rolling window. These are used for fraud and abuse prevention only. We do not export or correlate them with form submissions.

Email correspondence

If you email us, your message and your email address are stored in our mail provider for the duration of the conversation and for a reasonable archival window thereafter. You may request deletion at any time by writing to the same address.

Your rights

You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by writing to luke@lafaveconsulting.com. We will respond within thirty days. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights — California, the EU, the UK — those rights apply automatically.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the page with the date of the change at the bottom. Material changes will be flagged in any active engagement correspondence.

Last updated: this policy was published on the date this site went live and will be revised as needed.
